The invention provides an electric accumulator battery whose fundamental characteristics are the fact of comprising four terminals (3, 4, 5, 6) connected electrically in pairs below the cover (2) of the battery, which allows the application thereof to any model of vehicle whatever the arrangement of its connections, and by the presence of two C shaped handles (9) which are pivotably connected by their ends (10) to two vertical walls (8) and capable of occupying two positions, one vertical for serving as a handle and the other horizontal which allows batteries to be stacked while protecting the terminals against possible damage under the effect of the weight and consequent to shocks or friction against each other.

The battery contains a housing 1 having a rectangular prismatic shape, the upper part of which is covered by a lid 2. Four terminals 3 b pass through this lid, which are located in the corners of the lid. The battery is divided into compartments in which electrodes are separated by integrators and electrolyte.
Each of the terminal pairs located along the short side of the cover (terminals 3 and 4 on one side and terminals 5 and b on the other) is electrically connected to each other by buses or bridges 7 made of the same material or alloy as the grilles battery electrodes, and one of these pairs is connected to a positive grid, and the second to a negative one. Thus, there are two terminals 3 and 4 with one and two terminals 5 and b on the other, with each terminal in one pair having the same polarity with the other, so the battery can be installed with any orientation, regardless of the position of positive and negative terminals of the electrical system of the car on which the battery is installed.
